As traditional media - prints and televisions - faced its limitations in, for instance, sharing more information quickly and offering engagement opportunities to the people, the easier-and-faster digital media has now become a general trend throughout the world (Tsai, 2009).
The state of blogosphere was studied among the blog users in 2008 by Technorati. The number of blogs tracked has been increasing in chronological order since 2004, resulting 133 million blogs in 2008 with 10.4 new blog posts per second (Winn, 2009).

The study of the Technorati also stated that the Asian bloggers are more motivational and willing to expose their feelings and stories than the European bloggers who prefer to confront (Winn, 2009).
